Time for Taiwan ~ Time for ITF 2014

The 2014 Taipei International Travel Fair (Taipei ITF 2014) will be held at the World Trade Center (TWTC) Exhibition Hall 1, Area H on Exhibition Hall 1’s 2nd floor, and Exhibition Hall 3 from November 7th to 10th, 2014. It is the most popular travel exhibition in the Asia Pacic region and is Taiwan’s biggest travel show consisting of exhibition and sales. In 2013, over 900 organizations from 60 countries participated in ITF and utilized 1,350 exhibition booths. Through successful advertisement and activity planning, the four-day event attracted 315,000 visitors, generated more than NTD1.5 billion in revenue (approximately USD50 million) and brought over 3,000 local and international press reports. It created a tremendous business opportunity for the exhibitors.



ITF keeps an international vision to enhance tourism industry and aims at establishing an excellent communication platform. It seriously selects exhibitors beforehand and follows up service quality after the event. In the past 28 years, ITF maintains a consistent goal to bring the world into Taiwan and introduce Taiwan to the world. During the exhibition period, it not only provides visitors with updated information on domestic and international travel, communication through tourism and culture exchange, and special oers for accommodation as well as meal, but also organizes trade fairs to invite hundreds of travel-related enterprises (buyers) from the world to Taiwan for business discussions with exhibitors. This promotes the cooperation in tourism industry and increases business opportunities. In addition, ITF hosts forums to invite international and local distinguished speakers for dialogues to present advanced information for domestic tourism industry..


Taiwan owns abundant tourism resources and people passionate about traveling. According to the statistics of Tourism Bureau of MOTC, there were 11 million outbound travelers and over 8 million visitors to Taiwan in 2013. Taiwan becomes an important market for international tourism. More than 60 countries are expected to continue to participate in the annual event of ITF, and 1,450 exhibition booths will be oered in 2014. It will eectively enhance the image of each country involved and attract more tourists. Furthermore, ITF is a great exhibition that one cannot miss for all travel-related enterprises who think highly of the eectiveness for sales and marketing.
